A unique adult learning program modeled after the PLATO Society of UCLA and SAGE Society of CSUN. Opportunities to research, present, and participate in discussions on a variety of topics. Each lecture will feature a different topic and a different Instructor.
“Walking with God” with Rabbi Camras

STS is excited to offer this new and exciting endeavor of the Conservative Movement. Walking with God is a series of learning units designed to expose congregants to the variety of ways we can encounter God in our lives. Through essays, group and individual text study and journaling, the course is designed to stimulate, engage and strengthen our connection to God and to our Jewish heritage. This is great learning opportunity for Religious School parents!
Adult B'nai-Mitzvah Class
Tuesday evenings (start date: September 25, 2007) 6:30PM - 8:15PM
Instructors: Rabbi Richard Camras and Elisabeth Kesten
For those desirous of becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, this 2-year program includes Hebrew reading, an introduction to Judaism, and learning Torah and Haftorah trope. The program culminates with a B'nai Mitzvah service. To register for this class, contact Marilyn in the Main Office. Students in this program are required to be STS members.
